Dispatcher for the electric utility in Henderson, Kentucky. Position performs technical functions using a Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system and Outage Management System (OMS), monitors the electrical system, responds to abnormal electrical system conditions involving disabling/enabling electrical switches, tracing electrical lines and operating breakers/switches to adjust electrical line load. Position dispatches crews for maintenance/repair, and answers multi-line phones for customer calls. Position requires working rotating shifts of eight or twelve hours; daily, weekends, and holidays.
