Privacy Policy
This Policy describes the practices of the Henderson Municipal Power and Light (“HMP&L”) Fiber Department and its subsidiaries providing services with respect to your "personally identifiable information" and certain other information. Personally identifiable information is information that identifies you and that you have furnished to us or that we have collected in connection with your receipt of our services. This Notice applies to all of our commercial subscription fiber services, including voice, telecommunications, and data (collectively and individually, "HMP&L Services"), whether provided individually or as part of a bundle of services. | ||

Network Management Policy
Henderson Municipal Power and Light (“HMP&L” or “Company”) is committed to providing our customers with the best online experience possible. HMP&L uses reasonable network management practices consistent with industry standards and uses minimally invasive tools and technologies. Just as the Internet continues to evolve, so too, will our network management policies. Should HMP&L not apply reasonable network management practices, our customers could be subject to the negative effects of, among other risks, security attacks, viruses, and spam, resulting in possible degradation of services. | ||

Battery Policy
The telephone terminal Henderson Municipal Power & Light (“HMP&L”) provides does not come equipped with a backup battery. In the event of a power outage, your telephone service will not work, including 911 services, unless you have a backup power source for both the telephone terminal and your phone (phone system). For more information regarding backup batteries, including how to purchase a backup battery for your phone terminal, please reference this policy. | ||
