FTTH Construction Project Manager

Henderson Municipal Power & Light (HMP&L), an electric utility in Henderson, Kentucky, is seeking a Project Manager to provide technical and administrative direction/supervision for construction contractors and departmental personnel for construction of a Fiber to the Home (FTTH) Project.  Duties include coordination and management of project and on-site supervision. Minimum requirements include:  Bachelor’s degree Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field; supplemented by a minimum of 5 or more years previous experience in project management; experience in wire installation (fiber, phone, or cable); comfortable reading and understand blueprints and drawings; prior supervisory responsibility; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.  Requirements include: valid driver’s license with no DUI convictions in the previous 5 years; must pass a drug/alcohol screen and physical exam upon conditional offer of employment; and residency in Henderson County.
