Self Help

Review these questions and use your HMP&L Fiber Internet to troubleshoot first. It may not only fix the issue but save you time.
  • Are any devices online or is the issue isolated to one device, one website, or one area of the home?
  • Do you have power to the Wi-Fi router? What color are the lights?
  • Has any equipment or cabling been damaged, moved, or unplugged?
  • When completing a speed test within the HMP&L Fiber Intellifi App, what are the results?
  • Are the non-working devices connected to the correct network, if multiple networks are set up?
Stay Up To Date

Information about both planned outage and system maintenance date and time are sent via email and text message to the primary subscriber. The network team will send emails proactively during unexpected outages due to storm or line damage. Please check your inbox to see if you’ve been notified of an outage in your area. Major outage updates are also communicated on social media. However,  posts, comments, and messages are not valid ways to report an outage as they are not actively monitored.
